Over the past three weeks the Coronavirus pandemic has only seemed to get worse; however, gaming may be contributing to stopping the spread and flattening the curve.

Gaming has always been a popular source of entertainment. Whether you’re young or old, there is a game out there for you. Now more than ever people need to be far apart, and as a result, gaming has become an effective tool for keeping people connected, while also allowing social distancing to occur. According to the WHO (World Health Organization), gaming has the potential to “reach millions with important messages to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.” Because gaming is so wide-spread, and new games come out every few days, gaming could be the answer for how we stay connected and practice social distancing.

If you’ve never been a gamer, then now is the perfect time to give it a try.
