Disney just recently released the first two episodes of “WandaVision,” after releasing to the public they will be coming out with several new Marvel originals streaming exclusively Disney Plus.

This new mini series follows Wanda Maximoff, or Scarlet Witch, and her now husband Vision. The series takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame” and “Avengers: Infinity War” where Wanda has to destroy the infinity stone, therefore killing Vision for the sake of the world. Although Wanda ripped the stone from his head and killed Vision, Thanos, already acquiring the time stone, went back in time and retrieved the stone from Vision’s head himself, killing him again. This leaves many to question, “How is Vision alive in the show?” Many fans have theorized that in her grief, the Scarlet Witch has created her own reality to see Vision.

The first two episodes released were for the most part shot in black in white, showing how this takes place  around the 1950’s. Wanda and Vision are trying to live a normal life and appear to be a normal couple to the outside world while in reality, Vision is not a human and Wanda has powers humans could dream of having. Everything seems normal till the end of the first episode.

Before the ending credits, the viewer sees the screen pan out, and it is revealed  that someone is actually watching Wanda and Vision, but we do not know who or what. The second episode only gets weirder. While trying to fit in, Wanda joins a community club with the women in the town to help with the talent show fundraiser, but something strange happens during cleanup. Wanda is by a staticky radio that is reaching out to her by saying, “Wanda, Wanda, Wanda who’s doing this to you?” and then cuts out. The audience doesn’t know who is trying to reach out to her yet. Her and Vision also keep hearing noises outside their home.

After a noise, Wanda finds a bright red airplane toy, despite the world being  black and white. After hearing another noise, Wanda and Vision see a beekeeper climbing out of the sewer and after seeing this Wanda exclaims, “No!” and time reverts back a minute to before the beekeeper was found. Aftering time reverts to before the beekeeper was found, Vision and Wanda’s world becomes bright and full of color.

Throughout the show, the term “for the children” is thrown around a lot, even though no children are to be seen. But at the end it is revealed Wanda is pregnant. At the end of this episode too, it pans out to show someone is watching them again. The show is leaving many Easter eggs and mysteries to leave the viewer yearning for a new episode with loads of questions they want answered. With the way this show is already panning out, “WandaVision” has a lot of potential to develop an extremely interesting and complex plot with all the mysterious and suspenseful happenings.
