Spring 2023 Edition

Coachella, one of the biggest music festivals in the world, was held from April 14 to April 23 spanning two weekends.
This year’s Coachella took place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California–a popular haven for influencers and celebrities. Ticket prices were less popular, so to speak. The average ticket for Coachella 2023 went for a whopping $549 dollars–and that was just general admission.
Big-name performers took the stage this year, with performances from Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, Rosalia, Blink-182, Gorillaz, Blondie and Kali Uchis. In a jaw-dropping surprise appearance, Zendaya took the stage to perform with Labrinth, whose music appeared in the hit HBO drama “Euphoria.”
South Korean girl group Blackpink made history on the second day of the annual music festival, becoming the first Asian act to ever headline the festival. The group consists of four, Jennie Kim, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé.
Headlining the second night of Coachella, Blackpink’s stage performance is now the most streamed Coachella act of this year, with over 250 million viewers. Blackpink fans, “Blinks,” have branded the festival “PinkChella,” as the performance took the hearts of the Coachella attendees.
California’s favorite desert festival came to a close on Sunday April 23 after four days of nonstop musical performances.
