On September 20, 2025, at Brookside, Mepham organized its very own homecoming dance for the first time in many years.

The homecoming dance was well decorated and attended by many people. There was a large area for people to dance on and enjoy their time with their friends. People were seen dancing, talking, or even taking photos at the photobooth as the dance went on. Some administrators and teachers were among the students, making sure everyone had an enjoyable experience. The dance had beverages and snacks that people could enjoy while dancing. Emma Gallagher, a senior, had some thoughts about the dance. “I thought the dance was very well put together and fun.” Fellow senior Mayelle Calixte said that “it was better than she [I] expected.”

By popular vote, the homecoming court was elected from three boys and three girls: Samira Ramoutar, Halen Songo, Chloe Piano, Gulshan Singh, Ryan Lechleitner, and George Karousis. Mepham’s Homecoming Queen for 2025 was Halen Songco, and the Homecoming King was Ryan Lechleitner. The momentous occasion was captured on camera, and people continued dancing and celebrating. It was an incredible experience and an unforgettable occasion for many Mepham students.
